Virgin polymer resins, not recycled filler, molded from casts of real slates and shakes, with UV stabilizers through the body and color through the material, so a chipped edge shows more of the same color rather than a plastic core. The product lines run single-width and multi-width slate (the multi-width installing in varied courses the way a quarry lot would), plus shake profiles in several blends; each bundle mixes widths and shades so the finished field reads as natural variation rather than repeated stamping. Tiles install on ordinary decking with standard nailing: no specialized slate craft, no structural retrofit.

The shake lines make the same choice in wood grain. Color is where DaVinci separates from the lookalike tier: blends are built from multiple shades per bundle (slate grays running green, purple, and black the way real quarries do), and the color runs through the tile body, so edges and chips read as stone rather than plastic. We keep samples of the major blends; this is a decision to make holding the product in daylight, not scrolling a screen.
